英国一旅游杂志读者近日评选出他们心目中的全球十大机场，结果，中国北京首都国际机场力压群雄，拔得头筹，成为全球最佳机场。
这次评选出的全球十大机场排名前三位的都是亚洲机场，第一名是北京，第二位的是韩国首尔机场，第三位的新加坡的樟宜机场。这次北京首都国际机场力压群雄获得第一很不容易。因为这几个机场实力都很强，其中，多数人对新加坡的樟宜机场都比较熟悉，它1981年启用以来，就以优质服务享誉航空界，在1987年至2007年间共赢取超过280个奖项，
这次悉尼机场是排在了第9位。08年悉尼国际机场接纳过大约1060万位国际游客也是个享誉全球的机场。澳大利亚悉尼国际机场的接待量是惊人的，每年来澳大利亚的国际游客，大约有45%的人会从悉尼机场起飞或降落。 澳大利亚悉尼国际机场CEO称，将投入5亿元资金提升悉尼机场的现有设施，预计升级工程将于2010年中旬结束。

Travellers have spoken, and this year the Conde Nast Readers Traveller Awards have named Beijing Capital International (PEK) as the best airport in the world, unseating Madrid Barajas International Airport (MAD) from its top spot last year.
Following Beijing's impressive score of 87.30, the rest of Conde Nast's top three airports see Incheon International Seoul at second with a score of 86.44 and Singapore's Changi at number three with a score of 86.38.
Conde Nast calculates the index of satisfaction of readers, asking them to score airports out of 100 according to different categories of facilities and services, an overall percentage score is then produced.
In terms of individual sections Conde Nast said, "The Incheon International airport in Seoul is spotless (96 for cleanliness) and getting through Madrid Barajas International is a joy thanks to its design/layout (93.69)."
"But this year's winner, Beijing Capital International, came out on top for that criterion (97.50), as well as for flight information/clarity of signs (90.57) and location/accessibility (92.46)," it adds.
Dubai at number six, came out on top for shipping with 93.81 in that category, while luggage handling was the smoothest at number eight airport Kuala Lumpur which scored 90.43, though best parking, 91.43, was given to Copenhagen despite it only coming in at 14.
Beijing, the winner has come from nowhere, after it didn't even place on last year's top 15 list.? In fact five airports from last year's top 15 list didn't make the cut this year, with Tokyo, Helsinki, Auckland, Athens and Manchester slipping out of the favourites column.
